Came in for a tooth extraction and Dr Raj Koner was brilliant and top class. He got the tooth out straight away and I felt no pain and I always felt in safe hands at Church Lane Dental. Best dentist I’ve ever been to. In the past I needed to be put to sleep but Dr Raj was amazing and kept me calm and got the tooth out straight away. Really great service and I will only come to Church Lane Dental in the Future!

I have had a tooth extracted today. I felt anxious to begin with, but luckily I was made to feel comfortable and welcomed. The dentist (I believe his name is Chris) who helped with my problem was absolutely brilliant, gentle, quick and efficient. I am grateful for the pain free experience! Will be back soon!

I recently visited to have a chipped tooth repaired, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I called Church Lane Dental for an emergency appointment and they were able to fit me in the same day. All the staff are lovely, very welcoming and kind, especially the receptionist Gemma. The dentist, Dr Waseem, was fabulous and he explained all my options clearly and gave me great advice for the future.I have since joined the practice and am being looked after so well by Dr Waseem.Excellent service, 100% recommend!

I recently had a root canal treatment with Raj at Church Lane, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment I arrived, Raj made me feel comfortable and at ease. He explained the procedure thoroughly, answering all my questions and addressing any concerns I had. What impressed me the most was how painless the entire treatment was – I barely felt a thing! Had a root canal last night with Bav, the dentist and dental nurse Sarah. Both very attentive and professional and even though the procedure was very lengthy, I was pain free and comfortable, thank you. Upon arrival to the dentists the receptionist Amelia greeted me with friendliness and kindness, and when I went to pay another receptionist, Gemma, came in from outside. She had finished her shift at the other site and saw that her colleague had a queue. She went above and beyond and helped out, making my experience a lot quicker and more efficient! Thank you for a 5 star experience 🙌🏻😎

Have just returned home from having one of my wisdom tooth out. This has been the best dental surgery I have been to. I.ve been to a few.Raj is fantastic. As a anxious patient. He is always so enthusiastic, chatty and professional. Makes you feel at ease, and takes care of you. I like that the music is on, makes you feel less nervous. A good distraction.Would also like to say that all the staff at front desk are always friendly.Again, Thanks Raj. I can highly recommend this dental practice. I needed an emergency apppointment and they booked me in the same day. Gemma on Reception was so welcoming, helpful and professional . Dr Amnol was also very welcoming and explained the procedure so I felt relaxed. The temporary surgery required was successfully completed to allow me to go on holiday and then a future appointment made to complete the necessary dental work required. I am very grateful.

Visited Church lane dentist yesterday. I had a broken tooth. The place and the people were lovely. They made me feel very welcome and comfortable. I had my tooth removed it was very quick and painless. I would use them again and can recommend using them. I give them 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely Dental Practice so friendly & helpful. I was seen within an hour of calling as an emergency patient by Taffy who was amazing! She put me at ease straight away. She was very knowledgeable & explained everything well. I had an infection in a root remainng from a previous tricky extraction at my normal practice which was addressed with antibiotics and I have an appointment with an Oral surgeon to remove the root in a weeks time. I highly recommend Taffy & the Church Lane practice!

I visited with my three children today and all the staff were fantastic.My three year old son was very confident and that was built on by the dentist who was encouraging and provided praise.My 5 year old was a little worried having recently loosing her first tooth closely followed by her second. The dentist was very reassuring telling her that was fine and normal at this age for it to start happening but reminding her she must brush twice a day and look after the adult teeth very well. She also had a slight filling in the back, so reminded her of sugary snacks. Which my daughter has listened to as has not had pudding tonight 🤣Now my 8 year old bless her was told 6 months ago that she needed to wobble her top tooth as the new one was coming through ready or not. Unfortunately it had yet to vacate. This has been really troubling my daughter. The dentist explained they use numbing gel and give it a little wobble. My daughter initially got upset but after I calmed her and explained what numbing gel did and he would get it out easy, she agreeed to give it a go as she wanted it gone. The dentist did not rush me in talking to her, and understood that she needed time to understand and calm. I truly believe if we’d left it another month or two we would have had to get her back in kicking and screaming because she was so anxious today, but after the initial shock of it coming out she was so proud of herself and the instant relief that it’s done with was clear and we are so proud of her!Thank you church lane dental 🦷 5🌟

I had an excellent experience with the dental practice yesterday and honestly can't thank them enough.I had been experiencing high levels of pain through the night and Saturday, with another night of not sleeping approaching I booked a late night emergency appointment. Despite being a non registered patient they were able to see me the same night, with my calling at 8:45PM and my appointment being ag 10:15PM, The registration process was simple and completed over the phone when I made my appointment, which really helped considering my pain levels at the time.When I arrived I was guided to the upstairs waiting area which was clean and comfortable, I was able to see the dentist earlier as he had finished with a prior patient ahead of schedule.The dentist, Uwais, and his dental assistant, Tayeb, were absolutely brilliant. They were both reassuring, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly throughout. As an emergency private patient, I was understandably concerned about the overall cost, but Uwais was completely upfront about pricing at every stage so there were no surprises. For example, after the initial examination he recommended an X-ray but made it very clear that this was my choice and explained it would cost £15.The examination identified an infection in the root of my tooth, with decay under a previous filling from my regular dentist that had spread. All treatment options and associated risks were explained clearly, and we agreed that extraction was the best option. It was explained that a standard extraction would be attempted first, but due to the tooth’s location and condition a more complex extraction might be required at a higher cost reassuringly, I was also told that colleagues were available on site if that became necessary.Thankfully, the standard extraction was successful. Most importantly, I was finally able to sleep soundly afterwards. I genuinely can’t thank the practice enough for offering this service without them, I would have faced at least two more nights in severe pain waiting to contact my usual dentist.I would highly recommend this practice to anyone needing urgent dental care.

I'd been complaining of pain to my regular dentist for a while and two hours after a visit where they said nothing was wrong, the affected molar cracked right through. I went back and after an X-ray was told that the tooth was so badly broken below the gum line and into the pulp that extraction was the only possibility. I replied that "I'm not going to ring around tomorrow and find that it could be saved with a root canal and crown am I?", and my dentist said, "No, that's not possible - it can't be saved. You can get a second opinion if you like, but they'll tell you the same thing".The next day I thought it would be a good idea to find an expert in the field. I suggested to my wife that instead of looking for a practice, we look for the best practitioner in endodontics and see if I could get an appointment. She came across Dr. Raj Koner and he was able to see me that day. After examining the tooth he said he'd treated a lot worse and I booked in to get the tooth repaired.The subsequent experience was completely different to anything I'd encountered before and has made me wonder just how many extractions have been carried out on teeth that could have been saved by the right professional. The equipment used was well in advance of the previous RCTs I'd had with my regular dentists - no guessing about the root apex, detailed measurements, and specialised equipment to clean out the tissue. The temporary crown was perfect and well-bonded and when the final preparation was done a scanner was used rather than impressions being taken. The final crown only required a very minor adjustment and is indistinguishable from the rest of my teeth and fitted below the gum line, unlike my previous crowns.An unexpected outcome is my jaw muscles and bite feel completely different and relaxed - a lifelong tendency to grind my teeth in my sleep ceased almost immediately.Overall this has been a really positive experience and Dr. Koner's enthusiasm, diligence and professionalism are exceptional. Plus, he's a really likeable, uplifting person to be around and takes all the stress out of what can be an anxious procedure. The reception staff are all attentive and pleasant and the whole practice is reassuring.

Amazing Dentist. I had a root canal and wisdom tooth extraction by Dr Raj and it was totally pain free. Excellent service as well they were open on Sunday evening and all of the staff were lovely and friendly. Highly recommended!

My husband needed an emergency appointment. I called up & spoke with Tarlok who was fab & helped us in finding a same day appointment. We arrived a little earlier than his appointment time but filled out his medical details & he was in and out in no time. Everyone we dealt with at the practice were really friendly & polite. Church lane dental looked after me so well from the lovely reception staff to the dental staff, booked to have my two wisdom teeth out in emergency. Called at 3pm and they got me in for 8pm, im terrified of dentist and they looked after me from start to finish, took time, reasured me, kept checking on me , gave me a stress ball which helped alot as i was crying, shaking and twitching.They got both teeth out and i feel happy to return again to see them. Worth every penny. Thank you so much

Absolutely amazing service at Church Lane. I called at 4.30pm for an emergency appointment and they fitted me at 8.30pm the same day. I travelled an hour (35 Miles from Near Whitchurch) for this dental practice and it was worth it. I can not thank Raj and his team enough. Davial and Simran extracted my tooth, and it was over and done with within minutes. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, just like on their Facebook videos. Thank you again.

My mum Michelle came to Church Lane yesterday and was treated for a root canal with Dr Raj, she has always been apprehensive going to the dentist, but she came out completely relaxed and happy with her treatment. She was made to feel comfortable throughout the procedure by Dr Raj and Kulwant. Also Gemma on the reception helped her feel at ease whilst waiting. An excellent Practice and first class team I would highly recommend.

Amazing dentist!Rang up on Friday evening as a new patient desperate for an emergency appointment with bad wisdom tooth pain and was offered an appointment within 2 hours.The receptionist was lovely on the phone and very welcoming on arrival. The dentist (didn’t get her name) who did my treatment was so kind, patient and very reassuring. I had a pain free wisdom tooth extraction.Overall so happy with my visit here, considering I really don’t enjoy the dentist! After years of suffering with severe wisdom tooth pain, and a previous failed/partial extraction at New Cross Max Fax, I was still left in horrendous pain and constant flare-ups. My own dentist advised me to go private for removal, and kindly recommended this practice.From the very first phone call I was massively impressed. I rang on the day and was offered a same-day appointment. I asked for the following morning (as I genuinely wasn’t expecting it to be that quick!) and they were more than happy to accommodate.I arrived early and was dealt with efficiently straight away. Raj was actually running ahead, so I was seen before my appointment time — which never happens anywhere these days!Raj listened to everything I explained and immediately understood the problem. He took me for a scan, showed me exactly what was going on, and explained everything thoroughly and clearly. I felt completely reassured and informed at every step.He then offered to remove the tooth and root there and then. From start to finish — including numbing, extraction and sutures — the entire process took no more than 25 minutes. I was genuinely amazed. After everything I’ve been through, I couldn’t believe how smooth, calm and painless the whole experience was.Not only is Raj extremely skilled, but he’s also such a lovely person — down to earth, upbeat, reassuring, and clearly passionate about what he does. The whole experience from start to finish was absolutely faultless.This is hands down the best dental service I’ve ever had, and I only wish I’d known about this place sooner as it could have saved me years of pain and stress.A huge thank you again Raj — and thank you to Dan for putting me in touch.
